What I've Been Writing:
Defectors and Queens: I didn't get much written, BUT I finally got through a scene that had been taking me forever to write. I have no idea why the procrastination was so strong with this one, but whew. Finally got through it. Hopefully, things will move along a little faster from here. Fingers crossed. We're at 40,000 words now!
What I've Been Reading:
I decided to stay with the book I'd started, like, three weeks ago, and I'm a little further into it now. I think I'll actually like it a lot if I just set my phone aside and stop doomscrolling. It's pretty popular. You might've heard of it: When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker.
What I've Been Stacking on My Shelves:
Two books that I ordered in June from The Bookish Box came in this week, and I love them. The Dixon Rule and The Charlie Method.
