Tuesday Nothings!

My daughter's birthday is less than two weeks away, so I've been ordering presents online for her because I hate to go out shopping.  They're piling up in our closet.  The other day she got disgusted with all the waiting and said, "I want UPS to bring a box I can open NOW, not on my birthday."

To which I gave in, of course, and we ordered something she wanted and could open as soon as it arrived. You'll never guess what she asked for, though. A jack-in-the-box.  I didn't even realize she knew what a jack-in-the-box was!  But we found one on Amazon (a really cute very-hungry-caterpillar jack-in-the-box), and now she's waiting for that to arrive!

In writing land, I'm kind of playing the waiting game myself! Waiting for word from my publisher on my Granton University 2 book to find out what step to take on that next.  And I'm waiting for beta readers to get back to me about To Professor with Love. Those edits will happen in February/March, I think.

Oh, and speaking of To Professor with Love, I have a cover reveal set up with Tasty Book Tours to come out March 7th!  And Tasty will also be handling its virtual book tour in May, when it releases! So if anyone want to be a part of either of those, I'd be totally okay with that!!  (just clink on the Tasty names for the links!)

This would be a great time for me to get started writing another book, so...I wondered if I should do Granton U book 3, or Forbidden Men book 3. But nope, I've had requests for a story about Cassie and Keller from Delinquent Daddy (which came out way back almost four years ago). So I'm going to see where that takes me.

Do all you authors out there writing series books have to write them in order one-after-another, or do you need breaks between each one to regroup and re-plan. I'm beginning to think I'm a re-grouper myself.

And that's what's been up with me lately! How about you?

  1. That's so cute she wanted a jack-in-the-box!

I'm planning the second in a series now and...I'd rather write something else! LOL But I promised, so I guess I have to. :)

  2. You'll all love the jack-in-the-box!

I'm planning to write a trilogy non-stop. I may need to be committed.
