WHAT THE STORY'S ABOUT

After I caught my boyfriend cheating, I tried to be mature about it with an amicable split. But he took his retaliation too far, and I have officially had enough. No more Miss Nice Haven.

No one is allowed to lie to me, betray, embarrass, and devastate me, fill me with self-doubt, or put my future at risk, and expect to get away with it. He is going to feel my wrath.

Enter Wick Webster, his archenemy.

Nothing would provoke my ex more than to see me moving on with the one guy he hates most, so that’s exactly what I plan to do.

The only hitch in my brilliant scheme is Wick himself. He’s just gotta be all love-not-war and peace-is-the-only-way. He’s more concerned about helping me heal than seeking my sweet revenge.

And what the hell is it about his soothing presence and yummy looks that calls to me until I forget how much pain I’m in? He’s making it awfully hard to use and abuse him for my malicious means. The damn guy is making me fall for him.

Looking Forward

Tuesday, January 15, 2019
I'm so happy January is followed by December!  Because December is kind of that time where you look back and reflect, right, and evaluate how things have gone? Well, that was just plain scary for me. All I saw were my failures, losses, and rejections. Which led to depression, curling up inside myself, shutting the world out, and just plain wanting to die.

But now it's January! Er, well, halfway through (took me a bit to get over December). Time to look forward, shake off all my mistakes and goof-ups and try, try again. And I just read a nice, inspiring quote to help with that. It said, "A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality."

So, I'm writing down my dream and setting a date to it. I want to write eight books within the next three years.

EEK, my dream just turned into a goal!!!

This will be a challenge for me because my day job became significantly more involved this year, plus I'd like to work on getting a masters degree in library science sometime within the next three years, as well, and my kids are getting more involved in activities. And from past goals I've set like this before, I usually only finish twenty to fifty percent of the books I want to write. So I definitely have my work cut out for me to actually make my dream come true.

The first step I am going to take in my plan is to significantly drop social media involvement in order to make a bit of available time to actually write, meaning this might be the last you'll hear from me for a while.

Then again, I fail a lot, so who knows if that will actually be true! LOL. If it does turn out to be true, however, I hope you've made sure to sign up for my "new release notifications" emails, IF you know, you're the type who likes to read my stories.  That way, you won't miss any of my new releases, for sure. And with that, I wish you all the luck in the world with turning your own dreams into reality! I know you can do it!! Just remember: Dream, Goal, Steps, Plan, Action REALITY!! We got this.

Until then, whenever that may be, big hugs from me.
