My 2012 Reading Favorite!

Friday, December 14, 2012
I read soooo many good books this year.  Actually, I read good books every year, but this year I thought I'd try to list out my absolute favorites and give them a special THANK YOU for existing so I could read their greatness!!

So these are the stories that for-some-reason rose above the rest to stick in my mind and stay with me. They didn't all release this year, but I read them this year.  I decided to pick out twelve, one for each month!

Here goes:

Contemporary Adult Romance
-Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas
-Tempting the Best Man by J. Lynn
-The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst

Historical Adult Romance
-Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt

Contemporary New Adult Romance
-Easy by Tammara Webber
-Losing It by Cora Carmack
-Beautiful Disaster by Jamie Mcguire

Contemporary Young Adult Romance
-Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles
-His Kiss by Melanie Marks
-Defy the Stars by Stephanie Parent

Contemporary Paranormal YA Romance
-Half-Blood by Jennifer Armentrout
-Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

I just noticed that I read nothing buy romance books this year.  Hmm.  Strange.

Anyway, what are some of your absolute favorites that stick out in your head?

  1. Great list. When I tried to sit down and figure out my favorite books this year, I made a shocking discovery. I haven't read many this year!!!!! I'll have to make a resolution that next year, I have to balance the reader in me when the writer in me takes over!

  3. Oh, I love lists like this. (I might have to steal this idea!!) LOL

I was iffy about Dream Lake. I LOVED LOVED the first two, but this one had SO much backstory for me.

  4. Eeeeep!!!!!!!!!!! You read Shatter Me and fell in love. I told you it was amazing. Even dropped in mud and a little Kool Aid spilt all over it, it was still amazing.
And anything with the words Travis and Maddox combined is idol worthy.
And Losing It by Cora Carmack was one of Talia's favorites, she was telling me about it the other day and how much she enjoyed it.

    Great list!
