What I've Been Writing:
Impostors & Thieves is finished! Holy guacamole, I finished this manuscript. Right now, it's 134,757 words long and has 45 chapters. I'll probably read through it a few times before I head straight into Book Two while the characters are still fresh in my head.
I also drafted out a map of how I picture the world in this duology to look. Janek is the kingdom where our fair story takes place, by the way!
What I'm Reading:
I started reading Warrior Princess Assassin, and I'm glad I saw somewhere that it's a "why choose" story. That's not something I typically read, so it was nice to be forewarned so it doesn't catch me unaware. But so far, I'm loving it!
What I've been Buying:
You're not going to believe this, but...I didn't get a new book this week. I know; what kind of craziness is that? But I did order one from the TikTok shop, and one has shipped from my Book of the Month subscription box. So I should be getting some more to show off next week. But nothing today, sorry! Hope you have a good weekend.
